relationships are hard. often we get too close to our situation to even notice that we're not being treated in a loving way. if you want to have a princess, don't accept the behaviors of a witch.

there are only three ways to have an intimate relationship (platonic or romantic): one - accept the person exactly as they are, warts and all. two - end the relationship and look for someone more suited to your wants + needs, liberating them to also go and find someone more suited to their wants + needs. three - live in dysfunction. that's it.

if you have a repeating pattern of picking people you think are a princess and they turn out to be the evil witch - slow your roll. re~mind yourself that she's supposed to be your princess. if you treat her like one and she treats you like she's a witch, it's time to move along. you only get one life, be sure to enjoy at least some of it.

sometimes in relationships when we don't get what we want from the other person, we can get "needy." If you've been told you're "needy" or "clingy" you may have some shadow work to do. it's only when you can stand on your own two feet, happy with your own company, that your personal power develops to the point where you no longer have the desire to hang out with people who do not want to hang out with you.
