if you have a panicky personality you feel the need to "fix" everything in real time (hypervigilance is an example), sometimes running around like a chicken with your head cut off to please others.

often in my life i discovered that if i just let things play out, sometimes they resolve themselves. i spent many years with someone i referred to as "chicken little" because at the earliest sign of trouble... the sky was falling. it isn't good for anyone to live like that. constantly putting the body into fight flight over the smallest or even bigger things causes dis-ease which leads to disease.

the goal in life is to not only solve the problems that come our way, but to do it rationally. if you've got to move, or an unexpected bill, or most problems... you can take a minute, you can figure out your options, you can research, all those things will help you make better decisions. i was able to learn this by continually re~minding myself, everything doesn't have to happen right now.
